Thosis (Haiku)
Written in a Former Life (as a bad poet) circa.1672
How pleasantly the candles glow
and glimmer in the bright brass bowl
and oils and spicy musky scents
hang heavy in the Aire
And Mere-Ones sing
below the window
eerie tales of loss and sorrow
lovers dashed ‘gainst rocks of Morrow
afloating in the Watere
Where are you love?
my earthen Angel
Uriel, with goddess body
men have left you bruised an’ bloody
but i will kiss and heal my lady
laying on the Grounde
Oh tremble as the cleansing fire
shakes our weak, mortal desire
but our sweet lips create another
to dance upon the Flame.
And so another glass of grogge
before I stumble in the fogge
another life does wait us there
find me in the light.
For we have lived so many times
as brothers, sisters, lovers, wives
we’ve suffered every ecstasy
and eaten of humility
we’ve been hung and we’ve been sung
in ballads of the wandering one’s
and now we go not to return,
just one more glass of grogge
my love.
Luna-Tick #609
I am a world engulfed in flame
sucking back the wash of time
as roaches congregate
on vanities of word and rhyme
the future past and now collide
causing jagged ruptured lines
until the person that was you
dissolves into a distant blue
and history will remember you
and history will remember you
mourn ye not for days not won
new battles rise with every sun
and peace will set for all of you
and peace will set for all of you

I am a world in flame
stripping back the wash of time
as roaches congregate, on vanities of word and rhyme
the future, past and now collide
causing earthquakes shaking ‘time’
until the person that was you
dissolves into a distant blue
and all the world remembers you
and all the world remembers you…
mourn ye not for days not won
the battle rises with the sun
and peace will set for everyone
